Plantif said that was a palpable false hood..
Defendant said Mr Hyde had already
sent him out of the church and to Hell that
he had stated in a letter he would head him
at every corner said he bro't a letter from
Dr W Richards to him in his behalf but Mr
Hyde said he would heed no such letter..
     Plaintif said he did send him a letter stating
if such and such were his course he would head
him or cross him at every corner..
     President James gave his decission as follows
I believe the testimony these my brethren, To write,
Orson Hyde, geo. A. Smith  E. T, Benson,, the plantif has
Established the charge made against defendant
and said Defendant shall be cut off from the
Church and not come into it again untill
he delivers up the press or that portion of it
that he controls, or that he use the same dilig-
ence in sodoing that he has in covering it up,,
and that to the satisfaction of the Church and
Council here..
     The decession was sanctioned by a full
vote of the Council and house..
     Councillor Geo. W. Harris moved that Joseph
Kelting had insulted the Council the presidency
and the audience,, and that he be cut off from
the Church unless he make an humble and satis-
factory acknowledgement to this Council President-
cy, and audience..
     Councillor Geo. Coulson seconded it..
Remarks on this point from several of the counc-
ilors.. It carried..
     Mr Kelting arose said he considered himlself
abused wanted to know if he should explain
said he could not confess without such eplaination
