saturday,, gave as reasons that he came here
and saw men here that had said they would
not be satisfied untill Brigham Young and
the Authorities of the church had paid the
debt that Joseph and Hyrum Smith did in
Carthage jail..
Councillor Geo. W. Harris moved his forgiveness
on his telling the names of these individuals
seconded and carried..
Bro. Bateman then gave the names of
William A. Weston and Thomas Ashton, when
he said he knew to have made such statements
Some remarks on such and similor cases
by different members of the Council..
The case of F. H. Gurly was then bro't up
has he was cut off from the church he have
gone after Strange according to a letter writen, by
him to Lyman Corey..
Bro. Snow spake of the tabernacle and
after some talk it was still left in the
hands of Bishop Johnson..
Bishop Johnson reported the case of
sister Mangrum against Bro B. L. Clapp,
said Bro. Clapp considered it tried before
the seventies,, consequently he droped it, and
the parties had settled it,, also reported a
trial Harman Pherson against Joseph K. Lave..
On motion the council adjourned
2 weeks at 10 oclock A. M.
