The clerk read the minutes of the preceeding
Council,, Pres. Geo. A Smith presented the
case of Bishop Knights relative to his acts
in his Bishop Rick.. Made some remarks
tho't the council had best to appoint a
committee on three to investigate and exam-
ine his books &c.
Counselor Geo.W. Harris moved for a comm-
ittee to investigate his acts since he came
from Winter Quarters.. Seconded by counselor
Geo. Coulson.. Lyman Stoddard and Moses
Clawson opposed the motion..
Counselor Harris sustained it.. Remarks by
Counselor N. S. Bulkley followed by Bishop Knights
and Geo. Coulson.. Counselor S. Richards opposed
the motion.. Pres. Wm Snow spoke in favor of it.
Counselor J, M. Benson opposed it..
The question called for..
Counselors Geo. W. Harris H. W. Miller Wm Snow
and E. M. Greene voted for the committee.
