for W. Snow  T. Guyman  M  Clawson  S Richards  agt.
     Eligah Williams called forward with the
record of L. T. Coons trial..
     Eric Glines Plaintive stated that his greve-
ancies with A. P. Stewart were that Mr. Stewart
furnished him a gun to carry  on his pioneer
exepedition..  Council  adj- 1 hour..
2 ocl. Counselor A.H. Perkins came and took his
seat with the council..
Pres. Wm Snow spoke introduced the case of
Glines and Stewart,, Counselor H. W. Miller spoke
on the subject,, Elijah Williams came forward
and notified the council that if the case
went against Mr Glines they should loose                                all the cost.. Some altercation by different ones
of the counselors,, Pres. Wm Snow said if a man
was so poor that he could not pay the cost, he
should not be defared  a trial, and the council
was with him, and voted to investigate the whole
concern.. Glines made his statement as follows
(To wit) A.P. Stewart agreed with him in the
Spring of 47 that if he would go as a
pioneer to the Valley he would fit out his
family and send them out to him, which
contract he did not fill.
     D. Corbit 1 witness,, testified that he heard Bro.R. P.
Stewart tell Bro. E. Glines if he would go as a pioneer
he would fit out and send his family to him Bro. Glines
was to go there  and work, and do the best he could
for them all in raiding crops &c.. Gline's family
was to be sent on the same season
