Pres Geo. A Smith moved that the Johnson
Mann & Beamerd Farms and what is south of these
be set off into a Bishops ward and Bishop Isaac
Clark be the acting Bishop in said ward. carried
Eric Glines presented a case in which Rufus
P. Stewart had in his absence commenced
a suit against him before L. T. Coons an
acting Bishop and obtained a judgement
of $24 for a rifle furnished him by steward
to carry with him as he went a pioneer
for them,, and that they have taken proper=
ty belonging to, or which he had transfered to
Asahel Thorn previous to the institution of
the suit.. After examining Bro Glirses
the council voted to investigate the affair
