Bro. James Snow the President of the
Carterville Branch, said they received
Bro. Lewis into that Branch on the
recomend of Bro's Geo.A. Smith, and
Dan. Jones not being aware of the diffi-
culty visiting between him and the
Welch Branch.. Remarks from several of
the Councillors..
The Council approved the moves
of the Welch Branch..
Bro. William A. Weston and came forward and
denied ever making such statements as
he was charged with by Thomas Bateman
on the 13th of October last,, and wished to have
Bateman and himself called before the
Council that it might be investigated..
On motion the clerk was ordered to notify
William A. Weston, and Thomas Bateman to appear
before the Council on the 24 inst noticies were writen
The case of Bishop J. G. Bigler against
Henry Miller was bro't up and laid over 2 weeks
On motion adjourned two weeks 10 oclock

Persuant to adjournment the High Council
met in the School hous in Kanesville Present
James Allred, Geoge W. Harris, George
Coulson, H. W. Miller, Lyman Stoddard,
Aaron Johnson, Jacob G. Bigler, Noah S.
Bulkley.. Bro Harlow Redfield was called upon
to fill the place of William Snow, absent, and
Abele Lamb was called to fill the place of
James Mc Lellean, absent, and C. C. Pendleton was
called to fill the place of J. M. Benson, absent,
