Col. Dodge, which A.W. Babbit wanted printed , and Bro.
Gooches respond to said letter- after the reading of
the papers, on motion the Council voted to sanction
their publication= The doors were opened and the asse-
mbly came in= Bro's Gould came forward and said that
Bro. Cooley still refused to give him possession of his portion
of the mill property without it was forcibly wrested from
him- Bro. Cooley said they had mutually agreed to put all
into the millers hands, and each draw what they needed
for their families use, and let the millers keep an accurate
account, and that had been done, and called on Ganet
Miksell- Prest Allred remarked it was better to suffer
wrong than to do wrong==Bro. Ganett Miksell said that Bros
Cooley and Gould came to him & said they were agoing

to give the mill into his hands untill they had honora-
bly settled their difficulty, and he heard Bro. Cooley tell
Bro. Gould that they would  give the man who tends the
grist mill the same charge- Some remarks from Coun
sellor Gro.H. Harris followed by prest Allred.. Some altreat-
ion between the parties- Counsellor Harris called for the
reading of the decission of the former Council on this
matter- Counsellor Coulson made some remarks and
motioned that this case be dismissed from this Council
observed that this was not the proper tribuhal to adjust
property claims & differences said it should go before the
Bishop- The council voted to dismiss it entirely-
Councillor L. Stoddard made report of his trip to Indian
Town and the intermediate points= said Father Cutler with Wm
Redfield & - Rainez were one day a head of him,, said they

had heard them speak, and as many as were for them was against us,
made some remarks relative to the Branches in general and
the organizing of some Branches,= At Nishenaboteny they formed they
could not  organize for there were not enough sound members to
organized Calvin Beebe  there told them he knew they wanted to
organize them so as to get then tithing but  he wanted his tithing   to go to Gather Cutler and the House of Isreal- he futher said
that was the feelings of the people generally there=
