After the witnesses had given their testimony
some altrication took place about interested Parkes
giving their testimony and reference was had to

Council Bigler made his plea in behalf of the

BBigler said he had remarks.
R. P. Hartwell arose & stated that he found after
the Ox was dead that the Ox had the consumption
on his liver which was all gone and he did consider
that Br Bigler must have known that something
ailed the ox more then the cough  & the Pres of
the branch said it was a swindled game & if it
was his case he should not pay for the Ox &c.
Prest Hyde made some remarks & decided as
follows, That the decipion of the Bishop be
sustained and the vote in council which

No more business was found & Prest O Hyde
made some remarks relative to  Thomas Johnson
He also spoke relative to selling claims &
BJ. M. Benson requested to see the Council by
themselves. The Brethren retired.
Br Benson then presented an idea that there
was a feeling among the Brethren and especiablly
among the seventies, against the Council & the
Presidency here, & referred to a conversation he had
with Prest Jos. Young.---------------------------------
