by the High Council upon yesterday, granting the
priviledge of dancing prior to the first of March next,
on condition,, that satisfactory Certificates be given by
the authorities over branches, to the general Bishop of
the Church here, showing that the members have paid
their labour Tithing and free Will offering, towards the
settlements now improving for the poor, north of this
place. Elder Hyde said, that this id to be the labour
Tithing and free Will offering, and the Grain Tithing
is to be paid, and kept for to feed the poor.If we will
do these things we will be blest in Crops , in health here,
and on the way to the Valley also, and approved of every
where. Adjourned, & dismissed by prayer, to meet at
Noon upon the first Sabbath in March next.

Sunday March 2nd 1851. The Quorum of High Priests
convened in the Music Hall at noon, Elder George
Coulson the President of the quorum present, The names
of the members were called, after which Thomas Wail of
Carbonca presented himself for Ordination, & by an una=
nimous vote, to be ordained, & added to the quorum.
Nathaniel Taylor of Alreds Camp presented for reception,
and carried by vote, that he be received. Joseph S. Clarke
to be received by Ordination. Thomas D. Brown was
presented by Zebedee Coltrin for Ordination, and after
hearing Elder Brown,and some discussions, it was
deferred, and left for president Hyde to say whether
he should be received into this, or a quorum of seventies,
Several Members having come in since the meeting
commenced, the minutes of the last meeting were
read and approved. The President them nominated
Isaac Houston as one, and Evan M. Greene the other
of his Councillors, and seperate votes were taken, and
each unanimously approved of. Thomas Wail and
Joseph
