Joseph S. Clanke were then Ordained under the
hands of Elders Henry W. Miller and E. M. Greene.
Elder Zebedce Cotbim then spoke respecting the duty
of the Brethren generally, t o assist Elder Stoddard with
means to bring him to the Valley. The meeting was
then adjourned until the first Sabbath in April
next, at the Conference, during intermission, and
dismissed in the usual manner.-

Sunday April 6th 1851.  This being the first day of the
Spring Conference, and the entire time being occupied
with the business there of, and the President of the quo=
=rum not knowing any business requiring immediate
attention, the quorum meeting to stand over until the
adjourned Conference which is appointed for 20th inst.

Sunday April 20th 1851. As the weather was rather
chilly, with Showers, & considerable business of Conference
to be attended to, also no urgent business for the quorum,
the meeting there of to continue adjourned until the
first Sabbath  in May next.

Sunday May 4th 1851. High Priests quorum assembled
at the new Hall on Hyde Street, after the public Church
meeting was concluded. Present, Elder Coulson, President,
and E. M. Greene & Isaac Houston hes councillors. The
Names of the Members were called. The minutes of the
meeting of the 2nd day of March last were read and
approved. It was then moved seconded and carried,
that the clerk record the adjournments of the quorum
meetings form the first Sunday in April last to the
adjourned Conference on 20th April and from that , until
