He knew he got, angry quick, was hasty and many times did that
he was sorry for after it was done, and desired the council would
forgive him and he would try to do better.. The council forgave
him.. and he and brother Taylor settled their own difficulty..
     A petition relative  to timber  and claims, got up by the Branch
at Council Point was read by the clerk.. The Council decided
that no one make forms in the timber.. H. W. Miller moved
that a committe of three be appointed to locate Roads and adjust
differences in claims &c. seconded & carried,, H, W. Miller
Silas  Richards & Lyman Stoddard were appointed for said
committee.. The council ordered it proclaimed each day during
the Jubilo,, that the marshal shall take any person who shall
be found in toxeceated or having liquor arround this house during
the meeting of the Jubilo and shall detain and shall detain
them untill he or she shall pay one dollar..
     The council voted that this become a slandering Law..
The petition of Rushville Branch for L. T.Coons to be
appointed a bishop was read and laid on the table untill
the next meeting,, Silas Richards was appointed in place B.F.  Bird adjourned for 2 weeks form this day at
10ocl. at this place..

Prayer by H.S. Bulkley.. The minuted of the preceeding council were read                                                             Voted to let it drop untill next meeting and each member
draft a memorial to the council upon the subject..
     Samuel Anlger (bis)  Joseph Meacham,, Bro Anlger charged Brother
Meacham with lying ,  council agreed that one speak on a side..
Brother angler presented the case by stating that he had said
that Bro. Meacham had lied,, also that brother Meacham had notified
him to appear bebore that branch, and answer to the charge of slandering
his character,, to this he replied if Meacham would confess he had lied, he
would drop it ,, if not he should call him before the High Council..
