to the person from whom they have stolen and then receive
not exceeding thirty nine lashed,, or if they shall go to Missouri Iowa or
any other place where there is jurisdiction of civil court and
there steal and come upon here upon their being demanded
and satisfaction given to this Council by the person coming
and identifying the property and person they shall be given
up to the laws where they lave transgressed for trial..
     Carried a majority voting for it William Snow and
N. S. Bulkley voting against it.. The case of Daniel Shearer
and Joseph Warthon came forward, and after some
attrication was laid over untill Chester Loveland should
return from Mo... The case of Joseph  Taylor (bis) Joseph
Warthon from the adjourned council 3 weeks back, was
brought up and the council agreed that  W arthhon have
a rehearing.. Adjourned 1 week from this day 10 ocl A. M.

Rachel German (b s) Samul Swanner was called up,,the clerk read
the minutes of the former Council,, and then presented a note from
Daniel Shearer with drawing the charge against Joseph Warthon..
The clerk then read the proceedings of the Bishops court relative
to the case of Samuel Swanner. appealed.. Parties declared ready
Alexander Williams acting proscey  for Swanner he being absent..
     Remarks by Wm Draper, Jas. Alred & E. M. Greene, & H. W. Miller..
H. W Miller moved that Swanner go to the Bishop and satisfy him
for his contempt,, seconded & carried,, voted that Swanner have
untill next saturday to adjust the matter with the Bishop..
Remarks by several of the Counselors.. The case of Joseph Taylor
(bs) Joseph Warthon appealed from the adjourned meting weeks ago  was then introduced,, after many
quite cutting remarks Bro. Warthon confessed he did say to brother
Taylor he carried nothing for the council, also that he got angry
