He would urge upon the Council that the
Brethren break off- and there by [----------] who
who were wise & that this course would show
who would come out at the far end.
Prest Allred told his good feelings in being
at and witnessing the Dancing.
It was motion be PresO Hyde that the
time of Dancing continue until 1st of March
and then close and that the Council
recommend at the same time that the
Brethren close their  Dancing as speedily as
possible. Carried-------------------------------------
 Br Redfield said he had done his best during
the existing of the Parties-- he had been
liberal to all, he had thought that the
Dancing would be wound up by this time
some had paid their 2 bits and got into the
Dancing School which made some feelings-
There has been however a general good feeling
friendships and a good spirit prevailed- For his
part he could say he was perfectly satisfied and
enquired if there should be any restrictions placed
upon the Brethren about Dancing. Councilor Buckley
called for one restriction that of Liquor.
Prest Hyde made some remarks relative to the
nature of Dancing-he did not look upon it
as a Church ordanance  Compared it to the
expression of joy manifested on receiving an
ample fortune and the various [====] of
expressing that joy. He did not think it
particularly necessary to salvation but that
it was a lawful recreation.---------------------
Council Johnson also made remarks on
good order &c - Remarks were made by Counl Biglar
Prest Hyde said there was no impropriety [===] the
Lcollars staying till midnight if they paid their
