Council Snow read the following letter to the Council
concerning B^r Loveless indebtedness to Sister Laurence

Stated that this Letter called upon the Council to
know if B^r Loveless improvement could not be
turned upon Sister Lawrence to satisfy her instead
of Yoke of cattle and 12 dollars which he was owing
her.---------------------------------------------------
Council Benson stated that Bishop Bracker told
him that he believed he had no intention of
paying Sister Lawrence at all, refered to the
treacherous conduct of B^r Loveless and that he
has no wish that this Council should show any
any [=======]to him for he has plenty of
to pay the woman, he was for having it paid within
20 days. And motioned that B^r Loveless pay Sister
Lawrence within 20 says or be cut off from the
Church  Council Miller offered by way of amendment
that if the debt was not paid within that time
to collect suit forthwith.------------------------
Council  Mc Lellan said that he has but one Yoke of
Oxen,  his Boys have none of his- That her wagon
will be returned as soon as it comes from Missouri-
that this improvement consists of 10 acres under
under good fence 3 acres is soon with wheat one share
unit acre falling to him.  The improvement
has never been offered to his knowledge under 60
Dollars at any time.   Council Benson said she
wished the means now. She don't want the
place at all, bur the things agreed upon to her to
get to the Valley.---------------------------------------
Prest Hyde refered to the Character of B^r Loveless
for truth & honesty. He said he wanted B^r
Loveless to make good what he owed her. He
has been living with her, She has a Child by
him, and wants support with warmth of feeling
