He also considered the Letter as an insult to this
Council.----------------------------------------------
Remarks were also made by Councellors Johnson
& Prest Hyde. Councillor said he thought the
cattle were worth 40 dollars. Councillor Benson
said she was willing to have steers of the same
age and value. Prest Hyde said he had kept
them one year. Let him hand over 4 year old
steers. Br Redfield thought if the wagon is
not so good he should make that good also
Council Coulson wished to have the property
appraised at a proper valuation that the might
receive it according.
Council prest Hyde received the notion in the
following manner.--------------------------------
That he pay her 52 dollars in whatever may
satisfy her by the 1st of March or be cut off from

It was also moved by Prest Hyde that the waggon
be delivered to her by Br Clellans Br in law did that

Prest Hyde enquired of the Council if it is the
duty of this people to send for and support the
families of those who have stolen property
