Pres Hyde then said that he had the witness within him
that Carter did lie, and you may acknowledge what you will,
what you have got shall be taken from you, Well said Carter
if you are going to take them from me there is no use for me to make
any acknowledgments, Pres Hyde told him that the spirit of confession
was not in him

Joseph Meakam said he would like to ask one question
