The High Council met persuant to adjournment present
of the Councillors James Allred W. W Lane Geo W. Harris
Jonathan Browning J.G. Bigler John Killian Ira Oviatt, George
Coulson Jacob Bigler James Snow, Henry W. Miller, and
Isaac Allred in the place of J.M. Benson absent..

Prest O Hyde called on Bro. Kiswanger to know if he pled guilty..
ans. I plead in part but as to lying I do not plead guilty..
1st Witness John Mangum said the statement he made relative to Bro-
Niswnager's stating he had a permit to dance was incorrect that he
made he mistake by his having been with Bro Niswanger and also
with Bro. Adam Stevens and when he came to talk with the young man that was with him.
2nd Witness Adam Stevens, said at Bro.Jacob Bigler's he did
hear Bro. W. Niswanger tell Sister Bigler that he had a permit to
dance 48 hours for himself and Bro.Birch, 24 at his house
and 24 Bro. Birch's.
3rd Witness John Stevens corabrated the statement of his father..
On motion of Prest O. Hyde Sister Bigler testimony was received
through her husband Counsellor Jacob Bigler..
4th Witness Jacob Bigler in behalf of his wife Sarah Sally Bigler stated
that Sister Bigler did not understand Bro. Niswanger as
Bro. Stevens did, but that Bro Niswanger said he would get
a permit..
the council called for Bro. O. Hyde to testify if Bro. Niswanger
had asked him for a permit.
5th Witness O Hyde said he did not ask him for a permit
Counselor H. W. Miller asked Bro. Jacob Bigler if he
did not say at the last Council that Bro. Niswanger had
told him that he would get a permit..
6th Witness Jacob Bigler said that Bro. Niswanger gave him to
understand that he would get a permit..
