2 Prest. O. Hyde made some very pertinent remarks relative
to the case and contingent circumstances and incidents bearing
on this case and suggested that Bro. Niswanger be disfellow-
shiped for holding out false  coloring and there by visiting
brethren to go counter to the advise of the Council and
also bro. Mangum for bearing testimony against a brother
when he was not certain and there by raise feelings which
ought not to be excited,, also Bro. A. Stevens for getting drunk
and being so he could not understand and then bearing
testimony against his brother..
     Some remark by Bro. Mangum relative to his making
a mistakes,, also by A. Steven..
    Counsellor H. W. Miller spake said it came up in such
a shape and the ground admitted by Bro. Niswanger, that
he could not get it in any other shape than lying and a
transgression of Council..
   Councellor Isaac Allred said it might be taken in another
shape as he and his family were asked to a quilting,and
not to a dance tho' he did not go and plead for bro. Niswanger
said that tho' be had done wrong, but he did believe that bro.
Niswanger was a man that intended to do good and would
to all exstremities assist every man thot needed help &c.
and he felt like pleading mores for him &c.
Prest James Allred said his son had  manisfested a good feeling
towards bro. Niswanger and that he was handing out to help the
poor, and he was glad of it hoped he would continue to do
good, he held notes against that man now === a poor
widow and he hoped he would still do good
and pay his honest debts,,made some remarks relative to
such cases..
Prest o. Hyde said in the case of Bro. Niswanger there
was                                                                                           a   little difference in the course of  he had taken and an
absolute false hood,, and the difference was the difference
there would be the same is taken Calomile in files or in
powders missed up with sweetmeats it was calomile still
and it was swallowed and it would  have the same effect..
   Bro. Niswanger made some remarks and said he did not
do as he had in order transped or the Council of the church but
he did inted to see Bro. Hyde, but things rendered it difficult on
he did not come down as he expected, he said he had
