Several remarks from the different members of the Council when no
light a trace could be got Prest. O. Hyde moved to throw it out of
council .. Carried ---
 Councillor H. Cutler said the Springville Branch wished him to
ask the indulgence of the Council,, as the wether has been bad the
latter part of this, that they might have another party when they
could have Bro. Benson with them--
Prest. O. Hyde remark he thought them had been time
enough granted- followed by the Councillors & Prest. E. T. Benson
Prest. O. Hyde moved that the Springville Branch have the privilege
of one party the coming week for the purpose of Elder Benson to be
with them seconded & carried..
Councillor J. C Little enquired of the Council if they considered this move
of the Council opperate upon the dancing school- or not-
Prest. Geo. W. Harris moved that it did not opperate against the
school
D. R. Williams moved that the Council cannot sanction the
continuance of the dancing school after the close of Jan,,Carried
   E. M. Greene moved that the Council order a letter written
to Bro. Burdick notify him of the feelings of the Council
on the continuance of his dancing school ,, Carried
   Prest. O. Hyde spake relative to the of [===]
&c. in order to get off, putting in crops &c. followed by
J.C. Little & he moved that the voice of the Council
shall be to advise every one to put their places
in good order & crops in-- Seconded - withdrawen
followed by D. R. Williams & Prest. O. Hyde moved
that this subject be moved till our next Council, carried
Bishop Lane spake relative to moving the saints with him
Councillor J. C. Little opened the case of Prest. G. W. Harris Counciling the
saints to go to the Valley, & raised as inquiry into it &c
PresG. W. Harris arose and said he did believe as he had
said to Bro. Benson in Winter Quarters that next house of the Lord
would be built in Jackson Co. he had not advised any not to
