was refered to Bishop Lane and Council.. A communication
from the St Joseph Branch, Mo. in regard to Elder berron
H. Bruce was then read, and on motion was laid on the
table with a communication for Elder Bruce..
     Bro. Isaac Allred arose and wished to know if the
Council would approve of the seventies calling meetings
to express their feeling and instruct each other
     On motion it was approved b the Couonci;l
     On motion the Council adjourned 2 weeks at
10 ocl. A. M. to meet at the music hall

Met of the High Council James Allerd  Geo Couslon,
Geo. W. Harris  Noah S. Bulkley, Ira Oviatt  W. W. Lane
Jerome M. Benson, Lyman Stoddatd & C. C. Pendleton; h W Miller
having returned from is tour to Salt Lake Valley took his
place again in the Council.. The clerk J.G. Bigler not
being able to attend on account of sickness, C. C.
Pendleton was appointed clerk for the day.. Prest O.
Hyde was present with the Council..
     C. C. Pendleton opened the Council by prayer
      Jorome M Benson said the reason he was absent the last
meeting he was sick with a boil,, was excused.
    Geo. Coulson also effered as a excuse for none attendence at the last meeting his sickness was accepted.
     L. Stoddard said he should have made a report
of the co[=======] of the several Branches for a while past
but sickness had prevented. Remarks from Coun-
Allred, Stoddard, Benson  Coulson Geo W. Harris N. S.
Bulkley upon the most proper course to be pursued in regard
to obtaining a report from the different branches throughout
the county.. Prest O. Hyde said the time had come, when it was
his right to control the labor of the poor who had to be fed
by the bishops that their time might not run to waste.
