J. Alred & A. H. Perkins relative to appointing bishops
Prest Morley said the appointment gave this council authority
to appoint bishops.. He also gave instructions to the
committee of bishops how to act in their calling, and
how to instruct other bishops.. He said their are
poor also who have not friends in the army and
they must not be neglected
Adjourned till 2 oclock P. M. next Saturday at this
place,, discussed ---- Pres. Morley returning thanks------

by Counselor P. Richards. Bishop Fredrick Vanlouven
Reported concerning the poor in his district.. He also said
Bishop Daniel Hendrise refused to act in his office
     The council voted that the committee of bishops be
instructed to labor with bishop Hendrise and teach
him his duty ads report the result to this council
as soon as convenient..

fill the vacancy made by Thomas Grovers none
acceptance; after some deliberation Brother
Chandler Rogers was chosen for that purpose------
