was presented by the clerk and read..
Remarks by Prest Jas. Allred relative to timber
and the Councillor &c Remarks by several of the
Councilors.. On motion it was voted to recommend to the
brethren in the Settlements where they are settled so thick
as they are here and on Muskeeto Creek, not to claim
up the timber in their imediate vicinity to prevent
their Brethren from getting timber for necessary
building or fire wood..
On motion the Council adjourned
to the Council ground

At a special Council called to do some
business relative to to the Branch at Pisgah..
Present of the Councillors James Allred I. Oviatt
Geo. Coulson H. W. Miller Geo. W. Harris, N. S. Bulk-
ley, Aaron Johnson, J. G. Bigler Wm Snow..
Bro. Aaron York presented a letter from the
Prest of the Branch at Mt. Pisgah, which was
read by Robert Campbell while the clerk was
writing.. Bro. York made some explainations
the Letter being in reference to some difficulty
arriving between Melvin Ross,, Plaintif and
Charles R. Dana, Defendant.. Dana's cattle
had been destroying, Ross, corn.. The letter
requested a deligate from the High Counc-
il, to see the difficulty settled, or ti send such
Council they should deem necessary in the
Case.. The clerk of the Council was appointed
to write a letter to the Branch..
On motion the Bishop appointed Coleman
Boren an acting Bishop in that Branch and
called on the clerk to write as a letter of instru-
-ction to him as such Bishop.. The clerk wrote
the Letters requested, read them and they were
accepted.. He them read the Letters written to the
