                      Dec- 19- 1851

High Council met presuant to adjournment-
PresO. H. at the head of the Council-
   J. Browning absent- Jacob Bigler gone to the
washes  with Cutter,, J. C. Little sick, Geo. Coulson
deceased= the rest of the Councillors all present-
   Prayer by A. Evens= former minutes read & accepted=
   Prest. O. Hyde called the attention of the Council to the
subject of dancing= and suggested the propriety of
the Council giving giving such time for them to
rec[===] as they shall think proper= Bro. J Browning came in
   Prest. G. W. Harris moved that they have till the
midle of March- some remarks from several
of the Councillors= Prest. Harris withdrew his motion
Prest. O. Hyde made some remarks and suggested
that all Branches  over from this time till the close of Jan-
to dance under the superintend and of the Presidency
of each Branch= The Council seconded Prest. O. Hydes
views with a general vote,,= Prest. O Hyde then said
he wished it understood that each Branch should
have a general party for the poor in their Branch-
at last one,, some remarks from Prest. G. W. H.
followed by Prest. O. Hyde..-
   Prest. J. C. Snow ask the Council in  behalf of Bro.
Robert Gaddis that he be ordained a high Priest..
   PresHyde made some remarks on the opperation
of the spirit of God- drew some very just references
   Prest. Hyde the moved that each Branch shall
make at least one party in which all the poor of the
Branch shall be gathered up and as man more
as the Branch may feel able to make- Caried by
a full vote-  
   On motion the Council adjouned two
weeks at 11 oclock at this place
