were present. H. W. Miller in behalf of the committee on
Indian affairs made Report.. The Report was accepted..
     Counselors J M Benson & Aaron Johnson came in
at 3 ocl. - Col. Chas. M Johnson made report
of the scout after the Indians on the (B. ) He was,,
and tendered his resignation also presented the
Adjv Report giving the names of those who
who turned out on the occasion..
     The Report and Resignation were accepted..
Moved for a military organisation, seconded..

     Col. C. M. Johnson spoke on organisation..
Moved that the council appoint a Col.- to oganise
carried.. pres, O. Hyde moved that col- Chas. M. Johnson
be appointed he said Col--- of the whole of the
military among the saints in Pottawatamie
County,, carried.. H. W. Harris moved that a Lt.
Col-& Major be appointed. Carried..

feelings and acceptance of the office of  Col
