the cow, but Williams subsequently sells the
cow to Bro. Browning, and moves away to Mo.
Bro. Jonathan Browning testified that Williams
wanted to sell him a cow, that he had sold and
was to deliver her be such a day or was to
refund the money, he afterwards learned
that his Brother had bought her..
Brother bunker testified that he and brother
James Bird went with brother Jas. Browning
to see brother Oviatt, and he volunterily
agreed to abide the decision fi the bishop
Bro. Jas. Bird testified he same as Bro. Bunker
Bro. Thompson testified that Williams told
the week before he sold the cow to browning
that she was sold and he was to deliver her at his house, but that the man who had
owned her and sold her, owed him and
if he could sell her he would and make his
money off of her,, said there were other cattle
also that Williams had in possession which he
did turn out..
Bro. Franklin Oviatt, testified that his father bought
three head of cattle(to wit) 1 cow, 1 two years old
heifer, 1 yearling steer, of James Bevins in Weston
Mo. and said Bevins gave them a writing, and
order on Williams for the cattle, and said he
thought Williams should not ask anything for
seeing to the cattle as the run in the prairie
and the cow gave them milk all summer
said Williams accepted the order and said
he would get up the cattle..
James Browning testified, said Williams came
to him and wanted to sell him the heifer said
