At a meeting of the Twelve Counselors appointed by
the authorities of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day
Saints to preside over the affairs of said Church in
and about the region of Council bluffs: There being
present of said Council Phinchas Richards, James Alred
Heman Hyde, Daniel Spencer, Andrew H. Perkins William G. Perkins Henry H . Miller John Murdock& Jonathan H Hale.                                                                                           The meeting was called to order by James Alred under the
power at Council Bluffs and adjourned to brother Hales tent Counselor P Richards was then chosen president for the day.

  E. M. Greene was called upon and chosen clerk protern
until the whole Council should be together---                      The Letter from the authorities of the Church notifing
the Counselors of their appointment was their read---
after its reading it was delivered to the clerk, and
ordered to be put on record----  A note from brothers Huntington and Campbell at Mt Pisga relative to--sister Mary Joes was read and a coppy ordered to the
authorities of the Church- a letter was writen and
the note filed----- A communication was read
from Pres. B. Young relative to some property that was
at a store house in Savanah-----After some deliberation
that business was laid by until next setings----
  The question was then agitated how shall we raise teamsters,  teams & wagons to help the twelve to the Island-----
   That was also defered untill next seting
