It was then proposed to appoint Committee to select
locations for the winter and search out the bush bottoms
for wintering the cattle--Henry W. Miller Andrew H. Perkins
William G. Perkins John Murdock and Jonathan H. Hale
were selected for said committee---- after some deliberation , it was agreed that this Committee meet at
H. W. Millers
camp on Saturday morning and start on their exeploring
exepedition--- It was voted that the brethren be requested
to bring their fish neets and prepare for catching fish
for the benefit of the camp

Meeting was called to order by counselor P. Richards,
Counselor H. W, Miller exeplained the object of the
meeting-- which was the raising to teams to carry church
property to Grand Island ---- The clerk read a letter from the twelve
also a list if the names of the bishops appionted
relative to this , Brother Lot gave some particulars
to take charge of the families of the volunteers
concerning this thing--- Bro. Richards made some very
pertinant remarks relative to the brethren assisting
the twelve--- There were remarks from several of
the counselors-----The following persons volunteered
Elisha Hill ------2 yoke oxen 1 waggon and driver.
Amos P. Stone 2 Yoke oxen 1 waggon and driver
James M. Dodson 4 yoke oxen 2 waggons and 2 driver
William Greenewood 2 yoke oxen 1 waggon
John Eldridge 2 yoke oxen 1 waggon and 1 driver
their teams and wagons----and the following
volunteers William Carter, Charles Hale,Stephen Hale,
and George Hale , as drivers-------
