The conduct of some of the brethren at the
month of Keg Creek was taken up and William
Draper & William Snow were appointed a Committee
to visit the brethren at Keg C reek tomorrow and
use their influence to make all things right,
at that place.. After some remarks on the subject
of strays the following ordinance was adopted..
It is here by ordained that any person having
stray or strayes in possession, and does not advertise
agreeably to the cow on strays ,, within ten days
after taking them up, the president of the branch
where he resides shall appoint some person to
go and take said stray and advertise it..
and the man who first look up the stray
shall have nothing for his keeping it..

Warthon came up and being found necessary to have a full council
Edward Phillips was in the place of W . G. Perkins,,John Tidwell
in the place of A. H. Perkins, Jas. L Kimball in the place of
E.M. Greene and Wm Parshal in the place of B. F. Bird..
Decided that one speak on a side, N. L. Bulkley
on the
side of Justice, and Lyman Stoddard on the side of
mercy.. Joseph Taylor stated that he bought a pair of shoes
and some beef of , Joseph Warthon in Nauvoo and agreed to
cut and cock some hay on the prairie for them, which he
did, according to agreement, and notified Jos. Warthon
