Amos Cox of Silver Creek branch was recd into the
quorum. It was carried by vote, that George Parrish
be ordained an Elder, & he was ordained accordingly
by Elders Jonathan C. Wright, and Hewitt. Singing
and Prayer were attended to as usual throughout the
meeting,& it was dismissed,to meet at the usual place,
upon the first Sabbath in february next.

Sunday february 3rd 1859. The Quorum of High Priests
assembled at the Music Hall at the appointed time,
but in consequence of the absence of the President, &
there not appearing to be any business to attend to, the
meeting was adjourned until the first Sabbath in March
next, & the public meeting of the branch proceeded with.

Sunday March 3rd 1850. The High Priests quorum met
at the Music Hall at eleven oclock a m, Sung a Hymn
Prayer by President Snow. Sung another Hymn. The
president then addressed the congregation ( President
O. Hyde present,) upon the sufferings we have had, our
hardships in sending men to the Army,our industry,
and apparent blessings and prosperity at the present,
think we have been united here as well as at the Valley.
there has been some few instances where individuals
done wrong, but the great majority endeavored to do
good, & have been blest, for we have agreed in Council,
and adhered to Council in all things, from the least to
the greatest in power amongst us. there are little bick=
=erings amongst us, & often tend to spend the full value
of the matter in dispute in the time lost in meetings
before the Bishop & high council. Let us put away angry
feelings, for our profession is the greatest upon the face
of the whole Earth. The world of Sects have many good
