and class the people, or make a just distribution of the poor
in the various neighborhoods.. The Presidency are thankful
to see the good spirit of Zion councils as manifested by your
minutes, of Zion  promplitude or order, in attending to
the duties of Zion calling. We feel to bless & pray for you, and
as we anticipate settling on the west bank of the Mo.
 river
shall have the opportunity of visiting you occasjonaly and
shall ever be happy to see you among us. We think it
wisdom for the brethren to stop on the bluffs as much
as possible during the hot season of preura. then heaths
by this means, preparing their hay, hovels &c in the mean
time, in the vallies, where they can retreat in cold
weather. Those who wish are at liberty to cross the Mo. river  We are Zion brethren in the Lord, Amen--

Council net according to previous appointment and
opened by prayer by G. W. Harris,, The letter from the
Twelve was read by Counselor Hale and remarks by
Counselor Harris concerning the same giving -----planation
relative to the letter Counselor H. W. Miller make some
remarks concerning what Prest. B. Young had said to him
previous to the time about settling up the river, Counselor
G. W. Harris said it was best for the brethren to build houses
Counselor H. Hyde thought we could build houses of soil
and hay that would be cheap and of little labor.. Counselor
Miller said he thought best to cut hay and prepare for
winter.-- Remarks by several  on different subjects
