in all good feelings ,,the house then in general Council
voted that those men act in that place the whole house
having been resolved into Council for the purpose of organizing the
high Council. On motion they, (To Wit Able Evans C. C. Pendleton Harmon Cutler, B. B. Messange & D. R. Williams) were unanamously recieved
Remarks on appointing the president of the Council, on No. 1,
Councillor Snow moved that Councillor Geo. Coulson be No. 1-
after some suggestions relative to age governing in that mater
Prest O Hyde suggested that Councillor Geo. W. Harris was the
oldest man, the Eldest Councillor, had the most experince
after some observation the Prest O. Hyde nominated Councillor
Geo. W. Harris be No. carried with a full vote..-
The clerk prepared No's and Prest O. Hyde present a them to
the Councillors

The clerk called the list and the councillors were seated
in order.. The clerk presented the case of Edward Edwards and a
Mrs. Elizabeth Gammon acting unbecoming and trying to go through
to the Valley and that Bro. Joseph Allen was going to take them.
Remarks by Councillors Abel Evans, Coulson, and followed by Prest.
O Hyde, Geo. Coulson, Prest. Geo W. Harris= It was decied recommended that the
Welch Branch to take imediate steps to call them to acount and
that the agent of the perperual find to notify Bro. Joseph
Allen
that he must not carry any such persons to the Valley..
The case of Andrew J. Twitchell was bro't up and after
some remarks he was cut off.. Councillor Geo. Coulson wanted to know what should be done
with men that would at broad cast accuse the Elders
in England of Lying, not specifying individuals, but
spake at large against the American Elders= made some
remarks.. Bro. Wm Howell remarked that for the last four
years he had been with the Elders in England Wales &
France and he would testify that all he had heard he found
truth.. Remarks by Prest O Hyde on accusing any
Elder while in the discharge of [====] digty it is dishonoring
