High Council minutes- Present of the Councillor Geo. W, Harris  Geo. Coulson
Jacob Bigler, John Killiam , Prest. O. Hyde came in..
        Prayer by Prest O. Hyde, after some delibration,
the following names were presented to the council to full
vacancies
in the Council ( To Wit) Abel Evans, C. C. Pendleton Wm Manhard Jacob Baman,
Harmon Cutler, & B. B. Messenge..

    Geo. W. Harris, moved and Prest O.Hyde,seconded that those
men be called to act in the capacity of High Councillors,, carried in full
   Remarks from PresO. Hydeon the ability of men to act, every one
in a proper sphere. The Bro. Hyde  said our Bishop did not appear to be the man for the Bishop,, said he had nothing against him
only that he was to easy and would let the people run over him
      On motion the council adjourned 2 weeks to meet
a t this place and to take up for the first business the ==org
izeing of the Council.

 Kanesville Iowa June 7th A. D. 1851= High Council met persuant
to adjournment PresO. Hyde present,, of the original Councillors
Geo. W. Harris G w Coulson  Jonothan  Browning  Jacob Bigler Jas. C.
Snow,, Prayer by Prest. O. Hyde,,- the former minutes read,
accepted.. Remarks by Prest. O. Hyde relative to the working
of the devil, to draw away the people from the power of the
Holy Priesthood &c.- Presof the proposed Councillors C. C. Pendleton
Harmon Cutler, B.B. Messengar Able Evans.. Prest. O. Hyde made
relative remarks relative to the Burning of the jail and the
Characters that burned it.. Bishop W. W. Lane came in..
  Jacob Baman, was not present but Councillor J. C. Snow reported that
that Bro. Baman would serve Bro. Manhard was not present but
had reported to E. M. Greene that he could not attend and
that it was uncertain whether he could attend att===]..
and Bro. D. R. Williams was chosen in place of Bro.
