     Winter Quarters May 13th 1847
to Ja^s Allred, President of the High Council at Council
at Council point     Greeting
You are hereby notified to appear at the house of
John Taylor in this place on Saturday the 15th of May at 5
oclock P. M. an to send the minits of the proceedings
of a trial had in the case of Daniel Woods before the
High Council at your place and show cause why
he should not be in full fellowship in the Church

According to the  above notice James Allerd
President of the Council met in council
with Elders Parley P. P. Pratt, John Taylor
& President John Smith  Daniel Wood was not present.
The Council examined the minutes of
the High Council in the case & found
from the a presentation of President Alred &
the plainness of the Testimony as recorded in
the minutes there was no need for
an appeal; They therefore confirm their
decision.
  Daniel Wood came in & made his statement
before the council, but the council remined
unchanged in their feelings.
