after various Remarks the council decided that Bro. Durfee
hold his timber and Bro's Butler & ----------------- loose the cutting
of the timber and a notice was sent them to that affect..
An order was also sent to Gabriel Cotton giving him notice
to leave Council Point was not to settle nearer them
ten miles of that place.. Edward Philips was then
appointed to vend liquor at Council point Silas Richards
in the Block House Branch, and Osias Kilbon on
Muskuto Creek..The proper property of the clerks
being paid was them agitated and after some Remarks
the council voted that the clerk be paid one dollar for
each days service hereafter to be collected from the
several Branches.

Wm G. Perkins, Marshal Jas. Cragun.
Remarks by the Pres.relative to the privilege of the
Counselors in detecting in iniquiity.. The clerk read the minutes
of the preceding council, also the form of license for
selling liquors, they were accepted,, some remarks relative
to grag shops,, voted to disfellowship any and all persons
who will in any way patronize unlicensed grog shops..
Remarks form the pres. on he propriety of order in
the deliberations of the council..
Counselors Snow presented a case for D. H. Beck said
had put a cow into the hands of Parrish to erive on
to pisgak,, and who he came to Pisgah and before Beck
came up said Parish traded her to a brother Farlin,,
said Beck had come on here and having seen Parrish
in the road he told him he had sold the cow he
had found the cow with brother Farlin's cattle and
