     Bro. Dominicus Carter said Bro. E. Meacham
came to my shop after the fight all bloody.. My
testimony corroborates with Bro. Kelly. The line I know
nothing about.. The fence if it joined would be so
friends, that Bro. Meacham's stack would be exposed
to Bro. Kelly's cattle.. I know that Bro. Meacham was sick
quite a sick person before the affray and that he spit
blood after the beating and was laid up about
two weeks..
     Bro. D. P. Hunt said I went down to Prest
Joseph Young's and lodged at Bro. E. Meacham's
house, I saw that Bro. Meacham was very sick,
from the bleeding, and the internal concussion
and his face was badly cut,, he was informed
by brother Meacham, that he had been sick some
time previous to the beating..

last June three of us were called, a Committee,
to lay out a road, and we presuaded the Brethren
to sure the fence where it stood when brother
Kelly went to move it, and we Established it
a line fence, and I think the fence had
not been moved since it was then put up..
     Bro. Meacham said that Bro. E. M. Greene
was at that time the Prest of the Carterville
Branch, and that he called upon the people
to build the fence to secure the crops
