8  Question by Harley did Bate   Jones refuse you his rails
      Ans. no---- Question- by same did Sister Jones
offer him the Ball===] of rails_ Ans- she came
to me and said of I would not [===] the road we
could get them not saying where &c------------
 John Christensen said Jones & Harley came down
     and Jones said they had been up and
compromised with Bro. Wright about the fence and
Harley Sanitioned it-- did not [===] hearing
then offer Bro. Baum rails to fence his field &c
    Bro. Harley presented a plot of the fields and
all had to examine it--
 Anscar Sperry- Said that Jones & Harley came
down and said they had compromised with
Bro Wright and he was not a going to fence up
the road- and Bro. Baum said what shall I
do it will be of no use if it is not fence [==]
Baum asked how many rails it would taken to
[==] his fence. Harley said about 800 said
Bro. Baum said will you give or lend me all the
rails that it took above 800 Harley said he

through the field- Bro- Baum told them they could
not open the field it was a joint field- he had  
Bro. Baum said he must fence the lane, and
Jones said he should throw it down as a often as
he put it up &c. he heard no threating on either side
only with regard to opening the fence &c
Silas Smith called- said he had not heard bro- Baum
or Harley say anything about ot- It would take 840-
rails to make Bro. Wright fence and had not rails
nor team to get them- it was the only chance to fence
rails to make Bro. Baums fence good as it was before
it was to Bro. Harley was to let out his cows in the
morning--
