The first party being through- Bro Harley called on
Merlin Jones- to testify- some altrieation Bro. Baum
objecting to his testimony- decided that he testify
Merlin Jones listfyer that the flood carried away
a part of Bro. wrights and a part of his and the creek
leept- up and a second rise came and caried the
rest of Bro. Wrights and also of his - Jacob Terry
came to see him and Bro. Harley to have the
road fenced if and after talking some time he
acknowledge the in convence to Jones & Harley to have
it fenced &c soon after he saw Bro. Terry again at Bro.
Harleys and he told us then that he had seen Bro. Snow
and he said they must fence the field the best way
they could but must not fence the road- &c- some
expressions by J. Christman- them or four days after Bro.
Baum came home he came to him and wanted to
know what must be done, I said we must fix up the fence
Bro. Wright had not rails I said he could get them- Bro.
Baum had lost but a few pannels- Bro. Baum said he
was going to frnce up the road, I said if he fence it up
it would fence us up and we would not stay fenced &c
a said he would have it before the Branch or sunday
sunday I was at meeting nothing said about it- I went to
see Bro. Wright to see what he was agoing to do &c. I
asked him if which he would rather do, if he could borrow
the rails to make his fence, to make when it should be
or fence the road said he had rather fence the road
but he should do as the rest did &c found when he should be

Bro. Wright know &c he did not know what the rest
would do he should do as the rest did- we then went
to bro. Baum and after talking the matter over and

went to work and before might we was all

rehearded then their application to Bishop Palmer &
