neither did he ask it,, but from the conversation
I drew the conclusion that these were facts,,
said Mr. Molholand told him that he never had
made or padded a bogus dollar..
Joseph A. Kelting was called upon..
Mr Kelting said he did not feel willing to
testify intill he knew that this council was
duly organized, and what was it statute, but
if the council was duly organized and he
duly required he would tell frankly what
he knew..
The Council by vote called upon Joseph
A. Kelting testify what he knew relative to
James H. Molholand, being concerned in getting
a bogus press, or having one had in this region
of country..
Mr. Keltong said as to the press he knew nothing
about it, but Mr. molholand did acknowledge to him
that he did ask Mr. Hyde, that supposing things
were so and so what would be done.. I suposed
he did to draw out of Bro. Hyde some idea..
Pres. Hyde asked the witness if he knew any
other persons connected with the bogus machine..
Witness said he did not know any thing about
it, on any one being concerned in it..
Pres. Hyde asked him if he recolected telling any
one, that it might be tall business if the Authorities
here meddled it, for there were some tall men concer-
ned in it.. Witness said he did not..
William D. Huntington was called upon..
W. D. Huntington testified, that Joseph A. Kelting
asked him if he knew anything of the trial on
bogus matters that was fending against Mr. Molohland
and said he tho't they had better be careful for he
tho't there were some tall men concerned in
it,, said Mr. Kelting told him this as rumor..
