and ought not to have been in the way, these
petty claims is a shame there should be any
dispute a bout them.. Bro. Kelly say he is sorry
and had thrown himself into our hands, in
all such cases I feel to forgive- I want them
to acknowledge and tell us how they feel..

to go with me to Bro.O. Hyde. I have done all in my
power to settle this thing excepting  to settle according
to the decission of the seventies, and I believe Bro.
Meacham would have settled this matter with
me had he not been influenced by other
individuals..
Bro. Meacham said, I inquired of Bro. Kelly if Bro. Hyde
had given him a writing line requesting my presence, he said Bro. Hyde
had not and so I did not go.. Bro. Kelly spake of influence
being used against him he had thought the seventies were here

of evidence Judge from the spirit- Bro. Meacham may be a
good man when the matte is put into his own hands but it
is a precedent that I am opposed to.. And now what is to be
done. Shall he pay the $20; Bro. Meacham has received an  inj=
ury, but how for he has provoked it is for you to judge I believe that
brother Kelly should ten dollars unto the perpetual fund, to berhersome
into the hands of Bro Hunter- and that if Bro. Meacham is suffering-
and is in need of any demands to supply his wants he can
apply  the Bishop for tything..
