will act in so many ways in opposition to the laws of the
Church. The order for regulating our attendance must
stand good until it is altered through a higher power and
authority. David C. Study of Studyville branch, Fremont Co.
Missouri, and Chester Southworth of Mc Olneys branch
were
represented for ordination, & received, & ordained unto the
high Priesthood, and Ordained under the hands of William
Draper Patriarch and Jacob G Bigler. Able Evans was then
received into the quorum. Elder Hyde then said he wished
to know whether this quorum felt satisfied with, & approved

of his teachings to the general   Congregation this day, where=
=upon they were sanctioned by an unanimous vote after
repeated declarations of gratitude towards him for the
prompt measures he intended to have carried out and
inculeated amongst the people for their benefit & salvation
He exhorted those present to teach these things every where,
& let us keep union in all things including potitical.
He concluded by saying that matters which had been heard
before and decided by the high Council here, may be brought
up before  a higher power,( for instance a president) especially
where further testimony  could be produced. Elder George
Coulson said, that the President here is the representative
of the President in the Valley, and has a right to review
the acts of the high Council, and send them back to them,
for rehearing or reaction, and thus to approve or disapprove
of their acts. It is his right as an apostle, but when the Church
recuses to hear the word of the Lord through his Servants at
the Head, he or they will be removed. The Apostleship is  equal
to the first Presidency. We voted them in presidents. Elder
P. Hyde the stated, that the sayings of the first Presidency
in the Valley, to him, when he was about to leave there for
his home in Pottawatamie County, Iowa. ''You will return
in safety, and will have times the power you had before''.
He made some remarks about goods lately stoken in Kanes=
