men chosen to fill the places of absent counselors,, the council
after hearing the case agreed that one be suffient  to speak
on each side..
  Tyman Hyde testified that he heard Shearer trying to
persuade Simpson to settle with him, and Simpson told Shearer he had paid him all he ever would, and he might
kiss his ass for he balance..
  Ira Oviatt testified that Shearer and Simpson both
told him that Simpson was to pay half the expence of repairing
the waggon wheel,, also that Simpson refused to sett           Shearer and left him abruply..
  WParshall testified; that Simpson told Shearer to ask
him (Parshall) if Simpson was not honest, to which Parsall
replied, he had cheated him..Shearer treated Simpson very mildly..
  Shearer then presented his account,, and Simpson  brought  foreward his as an offset,, which left  a bill in favor of  Sheaer                                                                              one dollar and forty cents..

Present of Counselors Has. Alred H. Hyde N. L. Bulkley,
H. W. Miller Ira Oviatt Wm Snow.. Prayer be Jas. Alred..
  Pres. Alred  nominated William Draper to fill the place of
 Geo. Coulson during his absence,, as counselor voted to unaminous
  Chas. Bird Jas. Bird R. W. Alred and Daniel Shearer and
Eber Johnson were chosen to fill the places of absent members
  The case of Troy Thurston (bis) Thurston  Simpson was
then presented,, Council decided that one speak on a side
  The case was a diffirence of accounts,.. Troy Thurston charges
Thurston Simpson with refusing to settle with him and
refusing to pay him &c.. After suming up the testimonies, the
council spoke R. W. Alred for Plantive and H. W. Miller for
dedendant.. The President decieded the charges sustained,
and that Simpson pay  Thurston eight dollars, and the hand of fellowship be with drawn until Simpson make all
things straight and show by his conduct he writting to do
