Bro Badson was living &c Remarks from PresO Hyde concerning
this place and family &c.. On motion it was voted that
Bro. Badson & family occupy the place free from tax during
good behavior.. On motion it was also voted that Bro. Lyman
Stoddard asaitain the worth of the place when Bro Badson went
onto it, and report the same to this council, and said Bad-
son have the privilege of making all the improvement he
can and when he sells pay to the church the amount it was
worth when he went on to it, and the rest of what can be got
for the place to belong to him..

     Bro. Seth M. Blair presented a petition to the High
Council praying for a ball, signed by several of the
citizens of Kanesville.. After some remarks relative the into,   On Motion it was unaminously voted that the pititiion be granted and that each branch
have the privilege of holding, one ball and that the
benefit of each go into the hands of Prest. O. Hyde..
     Councillor & bishop Aaron Johnson asked for a letter
of commendation.. On motion the council voted that the
clerk give Bro Johnson and each member of the council that leaves
for the Valley this spring a letter of Recommend
     Bro Aaron Johnson made some remarks relative to his
course, and wished  the council to say if he might  obtain
some
from those that have not yet paid their tything, &c  Some inquiries
and remarks by several of the Councillors.. On motion it was
voted that Bro Johnson have thirty dollars..
      The St. Louis Band again played in the yard..
       The council passed a vote of thanks to the band for their
improvement, and for giving a tune at the opening and
closing of the Council..
       Prest O. Hyde proclaimed the vote of the Council on the
oranizing of companies, at the door and informed the
Band of the voted in their behalf..
        On motion the council adjourned for two
to meet at 11 oclock A. M. at this place
