     The High Council met persuant to adjournment
present of the Councillors James  Allred  Ira Oviatt,
George Coulson, J.G. Bigler. George W. Harris..

       Council openendl with prayer by Councillor
George W. Harris.. and no business being forward on
hand, on motion the Council adjourned untill two
weeks this day at 10 oclock A. M.

    Kanesville June 24th A. D. 1850
       Council met persuant to adjournment. Councillors
all present but Wm Snow & James M. Clelan they had started to Salt                                                                                 Lake valley.. Prayer by L. Stoddard-Wm Snow's place filled by Jacob Bigler
& James Mc Clelan's place filled by Joseph Kelly- Prest Allred said he and
some others had been doing some business in relation to John Holmes
and family who were disfellowshiped by Bishop court for stealing.
cursing & swearing intoxication, and other unchristian like conduct
and called on Councillor Coulson to explain- On motion John Holmes
and his son Thomas Holmes were cut off from the church- Prest-
Allred called on the Councillord for business-Councillor L. Stoddard
made some remarks concerning his official acts & doings in the
county- his report accepted and sanctioned by the council
Some appropiate remarks from Councillor G. Coulson followed
by PresO. Hyde relative to men preaching false doctrines & how
to handle them; also relative to his going to the Valley- said he
was willing to go or stay according to the wisdom of the coun.
Remarks from several of the Councillors which resulted in appointing
a committeed of five to obtain means for his outfit ( To Wit) L. Stoddard,

J. Browning J. M. Benson, Isaac Bullock & J. G. Bigler- Bro.J. Gould
presented a difficulty  existing between himself & John W. Cooly
concerning their mill on Pigeon Creek- which had been left to
Referces- a statement of past proceedings was made by the parties.
   Councillor George W. Harris moved that the whole difficulty existing
between the parties relative to their copartnership in the mill
