Amos Tubs testified again that the hair and grain of
the skin was off and that the cow had been lame at times ever since.
The witness being through Bro.S. Richards in behalf
of Justice, spoke showing that the accusation was pointed,
and testimony positive &c..
Bro. Moses Clauson in the part of Mercy said he
wanted to know if there was difficulty existing between
Bro Mecham and the witnesses,, this course was stoped
by the president as uncalled for, showing that we must act
upon the testimony presented..
Bro. Angler spake in his turn,, Bro Mecham followed
him,, President Alred then ------ided that the charges was
sustained by Bro, Anlger
Bro. L. Stoddard that there were things at the root of
this which was not bro't.. Bro. Wm Snow took up the case showing
that the conflicting testimonies were not taken in a proper
light, and showed that Bro, Anlger had not taken a proper
course on his proceedings.. Various Remarks by different
ones of the counselors,, Pres. Geo. A. Smith came into the room..
Pres. Alred said he was sure all was not right ,there
was a wrong existing with them all.. The case was them
discussed and the Brethren recommended to go home and
humble themselves and settle this shame affair at home..
Bro's Geo A Smith and L. Stoddard agreed to me to meet them tomorrow..
Bro. Geo. A. Smith gave home items relative to liquor
laws and also relative to the poor from the other side of the
other side of the River that would be sent over among
