Unionville, and poney Creek  branches, said he sent brothers Z. Croltrin
and T. D. brown, to visit those branches and their report was satisfactory to him, he had
visited Kegg Creek branch, found in a good condition, better than
he expected.. The  brethren manifested their good feelings by biding him
good speed and filling his waggon with provisions for his family he then
reported his trip to Ferryville in company with brothers Z.  Coltrin &
T. D. Brown,, reported the trial of E Luee, whom they cut off from the church:
they also heard the case of Chester Snyder, and decided
that while his old
wife shall abide his counsel, and let him direct  her course, he shall
provide for her, but when she refused to abide his council, he is free,,
to go to the Valley.. James Dunn's case we laid over, giving him a chance
to come before the Council.. Report accepted.
Bishop W.W.Lane wished to know if he was to report on the reports
of the branches given to him.. He reports were called for and the
clerk ordered to read. Counselor Harris move that the bishop draw

an abstract of the reports and present to the next Council,, carried..
  Bishop Lane,reported in behalf, of the committee to locate a
farm for the poor,and wished some plans addopted,,
      Geo. W. Harris moved that the bishop have the privilege
of calling on the branches to work out their tithing on said
farm,, motion carried.. Remarks from several of the
Counselors.. Bishop Lane appointed next monday,, week
for a company to start up and comment a farm..
