Pres. O. Hyde spake concerning dancing its
bearing on us as a church and as a
community.. He then proposed the holidays being
spent in holding meetings, and enjoying the time
in singing praying and dancing that there
be no spiritnous liquors  at those meetings, and
none be holden without one of the three presid-
ents to preside..
     Adjourned this day three weeks at 10 ocl-

The High Council convened pursuant to adjourn-
ment.. Councilors all present,, Present of the
Twelve Orson Hyde  Geo A. Smith  and E. T. Benson
   Prayer by N. S. Bulkley.. Former minutes read
and, accepted..
     The clerk then read a notice which had
been served on James H. Molholand,, (  To Wit)
     Bro. J. H. Molholand
                               Sir you are here by notified
tp appear before the High Council of the Church
of J. C. of L. D. S. at there next session, holden
at the school house in Kanesville, on Sat.
the 6th of Jan. next and answer to the following
charge ( To Wit) of bringing causing to be bro't
or aiding and abetting in the same, a press
and fisctures, with the intent of making and
putting into circulation a spurious coin,,
charge preferred by Orson Hyde this 30th day
of Dec. A.D. 1848
