The former minutes read and acepted..
Bro. Hyde nominated Bishop A. palmer to take the
place of Bro. G. Coulson, dead,, J Louder in the place
J. Bigler.. J. Coltin in the place A Evans,, C. banbonven
in the place of J. C. Little, all carried unanimously..
The case of Bro. L. Johnson & G. P. Stiles concerning the cattle
serape called up.. The parties not being present Bro. John
Osmond was deputed by Prest Hyde to go and notify them
that the council was waiting for them.. The clerk reported
that he had notified them.. Councillor Snow also reported
that he had notified George Snow Samuel Waldo, Oliver
Wetherbee, Mrs. Edminson & Mrs. Snow..
Bro. Luke Johnson came forward & George S. Stiles..
The clark gave a statement of the case..
Mr. Stiles made his statement in the matter..
Bro. Luke Johnson then made his statement concerning his
steers going off.. The men told him he bo't of Geo. Snow,,
made, when he came up Geo. Snow neighbors reported him
gone, that he had not been seen for several days,, said
he learned from Bro Crapo that George Snow had enquired of
him about the cattle &c and on leaving this he told Bro
Wetherbee that the warant was not on the right man &c,
Bro. Wetherbee not having come, Bro. Messenger told
what Bro. Wetherbee had told him..
Bro. Jacob Morris= he said he was down in Mo. and a man asked
him what was the difficulty with Geo. Snow as he was there and
there was a [==] with his mother in law about his going home
Bro. Sam. Waldo said he had been acquainted with
Dr. Bonner in the East- he was the man that had
Bro. Johnson's cattle - said he was a man of good character
back East- He said Dr. Bonner told him about the expense
