did put up his press it should be the very instrument that
should cut his own throat and it was sanctioned by the
Council and house. He then spake of the case Bro. H. W. Miller
said that he was as good a man as God ever made & spake
of his course, a cross the plains, of the feelings that excisted and
said in the matter that had been spoken of before the Council
and wanted there should be no feelings,, the subject spoken
of by H.W. Miller L. Johnson & Geo. Coulson, remarks from several of
the Councillors and Elder O. Hyde followed speaking on general terms
of Business then decided that Councillor H. W. Miller divide the
money with Bro. Johnson, and all should be right, it was coveanted
ed to, and the parties were agreed..--
On motion the Council adjourned 2 weeks 10. ocl at

High Council met persuant to adjournment
    The names called present James Allred  Ira Oviatt, Geo.
Coulson Geo. W. Harris, James C. Snow Jacob Bigler, John Killiams
    Prayer by John Killiams..
     Prest. James Allred made some remarks relative
to his having thought it might be the last time of his
meeting with the Council here and wanted to know if
the Councillors were willing to give him a recommend..
    Councillor Geo. W. Harris moved that all  those who belong
to the High Council and are leaving for the Valley shall have
  a letter of Recommend from the High Council signed by
the Prest. and clerk..
   It was move to adjournment---
     The clerk read the minutes of the proceeding Council
they were accepted..
Councillor J. C. Snow reported the case of Archilda Patten, said
that was amucably settled,, also the case of Isiah Huntsman
with Jacob Huntsman asault and battery,, settled amucably
