E. Hyde - The S. Mill about to be built on muscuto is complained of - it will overflow, & injure
tis S. some threatend to injure it, the people there & they who will
suffer- if frontier cant agree, the laws of Iowa of minds for the
removal if it is unjurious - let those off[----] k& the Miller

G. A. Smith - Sd Cd scarcely bring all but fully before this Confer in the

19 yrs Since the church was organized, & Baptisim had commenced
we are old enough to avoid many Circumstances we have to
encounter. - we can raise frot oproduce, but cannot becs if
in cities -- let us take a course beneficial for all.
let meetings be kept up in each branch. -& the quorum meet
reguly. & on at least each quo from each branch sh attend to bring
the arrangements & decisions to the people. - if we neglect the poor
God will neglect us.if we cloth them with meys he may clothe us so,
if we feed with Turuiss he may feed us so. God E have made

to have the Valley organized into the Utan Ferry, if so be it so
our going there is for a difft object. - The rich are about to go to the Valley,

abt to go out of 30 faml & will leave 24 faml with 2 teams I want
to see prepale fect, to see all go who can,& Crops put in for those left.

E. T. Benson -twill go in for Salt instead of gold. I hear of brethren about to
go to the gold mines it may be all right but will hear more of it
during Confce .. We can go in for Salt, & then for the Gold. let us go in for
Stock & raise out own teams Chickens & the Lord has laid out
California for the prepate to go & gather Gold while we prepare here
for the Valley. This is the goodly and the L spoke of let us put in Crops
& have next winter for those left, believes the people will
do right, I will
go or stay, this is not our abiding place at the Sod is good.. I want
to go to the Valley & G. A. Smith also, we are one part of the poor we are the
