Friday April 6th After a sever  storm in the
morning and torsterous winds - a meeting of the General
Conference was called on a ground North of the Tabernacle
Present of the Twelve Prest Orson Hyde Geo A Smith & Ezra
T Benson - The Conference was Composed mostly of the Brethren
a suitable arrangement was made by Br W. Snow - Br Hyde
case and addressed the Congregation. Upon the [===]
of sacrificing all which if any man do what was may be
his profession heaven must accept that individual and
faith must [===] the whole- Where the principles of honesty [===]
heaven must accept such a principle - spoke upon the necessity of
Confiden a in God which hath great conference [====] 
of reward

moved that President Orson Hyde be the Prest of the Conference
seconded & carried
moved I seconded that Br Even M Green James Sloan ask as clerk
moved & seconded that Br Campbell report speches as far as in his [====]
     Br Hyde called upon the Brethren to call upon the Lord
that he would make such suggestions ad may be given in wisdom
for the instruction of the Brethren

     Called upon the Brethren not have the Waggons crowding
upon the Congregation- Said also that he shall have much to say
for the instruction of the Brethren & that Br Geo A & Br Erart F will
have much to say by way of instruction spoke upon the necessity of
humbling ourselves before God & repent of our sins - ask his blessing
to rest upon us and if we do not wale up then is a red hot poker to
stir us up - Prayer was made by Pres Hyde
